Reading United is fortunate to have Rachel Hoffman as the Super 20 Women Assistant Coach. Rachel Hoffman is one of the greatest women’s players to come out of the Reading area. The Wyomissing H.S. graduate will be the Super 20 Women’s Assistant Coach for the 2010 season. Rachel was a 4-Time All-State player and a 1994 High School All-American and1994 Pennsylvania State Player of the Year. Rachel’s accolades continued at the collegiate level where she was a standout player from 1994-1997 at Penn State University. While at PSU Rachel was a 4-Time First Team All-Big Ten, 4-Time First Team Mid Atlantic All American and ended her career as All-Time Leading Points in Goals/Assists at Penn State and in the Big Ten Conference. After graduating from Penn State, Rachel played for the New York Power of the WUSA. Since 1999, Rachel has been the Assistant Girl’s Soccer Coach at Wyomissing Area High School and is the former Head Women’s Coach at Alvernia University.
