Reading looks to extend its 24-game unbeaten streak in Brooklyn

Reading United will be traveling to New York on Wednesday to hopefully defeat FA Euro for the second time this season. Two weeks ago, FA Euro traveled to Gurski Stadium to match off against Reading for their home-opener. RUAC brought home a 3-0 victory against the NY team.

Who are they?

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, FA Euro is also part of the USL League 2. Their current standing on the leader board is in 7th place. Despite their season standing, they do put up a good fight on the field, with goal leaders Conor McGlynn and Karamba Janneh. FA Euro has had 3 ties in their 4 home games for the 2019 regular season.

What to expect.

Last time RUAC met FA Euro, three goals were scored by Reading’s Alec McKinley, Will Baynham and Simon Becher. Needless to say, FA Euro’s goalkeeper, Jason Belfon, got too familiar with the back of the net that night. Although there’s no way to predict the future, we have a strong feeling our guys will be sending the ball to the back of the net again on Wednesday.

Let’s Play Ball.

If you’re up for a road trip, head to Brooklyn, NY where RUAC will meet FA Euro for the second time on Wednesday, June 12th at 8:30 p.m.
