Three Reading United alumni are currently on the 23-man roster for countries participating in the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup.  Kamal Miller (Canada(, Frantzdy Pierrot (Haiti), and Damion Lowe (Jamaica) all made the final cut, with Miller and Pierrot having an impressive first week.

Kamal Miller made his appearance in Reading just last season making it into 13 games for United. Now this season, the young defensemen made the 23 man roster for Canada to get his chance to find time in the Gold Cup games.  Miller has not made an appearance into the game yet but, Canada is 1-1 so far in the tournament. The first game was a 4-0 win over Martinique and then they fell short to Mexico in a 3-1 loss.

Another recent Reading alumni made his mark for Haiti, as Frantzdy Pierrot started in the first Gold Cup game.  Haiti overcame Bermuda in a 2-1 victory,  with both goals coming from Pierrot. The first score was the equalizer, with the second being the game winner. Pierrot didn't feature in the Haiti's 2-0 victory over Nicaragua.

Damion Lowe, United alumni from the 2013 season, is finding playing time and goals with Jamaica.  Lowe was able to score the game winning goal against Honduras in their first game of the tournament for a 3-2 win. Jamaica has their second game against El Salvador tonight.
