Jacob Evans had a spectacular summer as a member of the highest-scoring attack in all of League Two, contributing four goals and five assists for Brazos Valley Cavalry. The Chester, England native returned to UNC Wilmington for his junior season, where he has played a big part in helping the Seahawks to an undefeated run in conference play.
On Saturday, Evans scored the lone goal in UNCW’s biggest win of the season, a 1-0 road upset over #16 James Madison. The forward’s golden goal in overtime earned him CAA Offensive Player of the Week honors and vaulted the Seahawks to the top of the conference standings.

Molloy was a star for three seasons in League Two with Reading United, and in 2018 he was both the #1 prospect and a member of the All-League Team. The Irish midfielder is now a senior at Penn State, where he has led the Nittany Lions within reach of a Big Ten title. Molloy had his best week of an impressive season last week, picking up Top Drawer Soccer’s Player of the Week award. He scored from the spot and assisted another goal in Penn State’s win over Pittsburgh, and notched the game-winner on the road against Wisconsin to bring his tally to six goals and two assists on the year.
