United faces off against expansion side for the final time in 2021

READING, PA (June 26, 2021) –  Reading United will host Real Central New Jersey (RCNJ) to begin a four-game home stretch to finish out the regular season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00pm at Exeter High School’s Don Thomas Stadium, with doors opening at 6:00pm.

Reading United were unable to assert themselves against West Chester United this season, but they now have the opportunity to end the two game series against Real Central New Jersey with the upper hand.

The teams faced off less than ten days ago, resulting in a 2-2 draw. Reading took the lead two separate times during the match with goals from Raimondo Partito and Jake Gosselin, but were not able to hold off Real Central New Jersey’s offense.

Real Central New Jersey (2-5-2) is currently sitting level on points with Reading United (2-6-2) in the standings with eight points each. Both teams will be hungry for three points to boost them well above bottom of the table Lehigh Valley United.

Carson Williams and Qauntrell Jones have been excellent in net so far, both contributing to wins for Reading this season. Last time out against Real Central New Jersey, Williams made five stops to keep Reading in the game.
