A peak at our upcoming opponent

Reading United is facing off against Philadelphia Lone Star for their third and final meeting this Friday, looking to improve upon the 2-4 loss the last time the pair met. 

Reading United is (2-6-3) while Philadelphia Lone Star is (5-6-0). Philadelphia currently has 15 points while Reading trails them with 9 points. Reading is currently sitting in 5th place in the Eastern Conference Mid Atlantic Division while Philadelphia sits just above them in 4th place. 

During their last meeting at South Philadelphia Super Site Reading got on the board early with a goal scored by Seth Kuhn in the 4th minute. Philadelphia tied it up on a corner kick which was headed in by Aaron Keita in the 38th minute of play, tying the game to 1-1 heading into halftime. Reading got the ball rolling again in the second half with a goal scored by Andre Disomma in the 54th minute. Which was ultimately their last glimmer of hope as Philadelphia scored three more times resulting in Readings 2-4 upset.  

A couple of players to keep an eye on is forward Daniel Bloyou and midfielder Patrick Singbah. Bloyou is one of the goal leaders on the Lone Star squad, he currently has two goals and two assists in the seven games he appeared in, he had an assist in the last matchup against Reading United. Singbah is another player to watch out for he is also one of the goal leaders on the team. He has two goals and two assists in the 10 games he appeared in.
