JACKSON, Tenn. & TAMPA, Fla. - The United Soccer League announced today that Jackson Boom will join USL League Two in 2026.
Founded in 2022, Jackson Boom was created to raise the level of soccer development in West Tennessee through elite training, competitive opportunities, and a clear player pathway. After launching with a single competitive team, Jackson Boom has grown to become a multi-division youth academy hosting elite development and pre-professional programs for boys and girls.
“Jackson Boom has built a foundation of using soccer to bring together Jackson and the surrounding communities,” said Joel Nash, USL SVP of Youth and Pre-Professional Properties. “The club ownership has a breadth of experience and commitment to elevating the youth players through their academy as well as providing exciting soccer entertainment as they grow into USL League Two.”
Beyond the pitch, Jackson Boom is committed to service the West Tennessee community through meaningful soccer initiatives. Through its year-round youth academy, the club hosts free clinics that partner with charitable initiatives and provide need-based scholarships to ensure children across the area have access to high quality soccer development opportunities regardless of financial means.
“Securing a place in USL League Two represents both a lifelong goal of mine and a defining milestone for our organization,” said Cesar Quispe, President of Jackson Boom. “Growing up in Washington D.C., professional soccer fueled my passion for the game, and it is my vision that children across West Tennessee will now have the same opportunity to be inspired. Our goal is to ensure that the next generation not only falls in love with soccer but also sees a clear pathway to compete at the highest levels, right here in our own community.”
Jackson Boom will be a member of the Mid South Division in USL League Two’s Southern Conference.
