READING, PA (March 26, 2018) – Reading United A.C. announced today that the club will play all 2018 Premier Development League and Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches at Gurski Stadium on the campus of Wilson High School in West Lawn, Pennsylvania.

United returns to Gurski Stadium following a successful three-year stint at Exeter High School’s Don Thomas Stadium.

Gurski Stadium, one of Berks County’s premier sporting facilities, has served as Reading United’s home venue on several occassions over the last five years. United hold a 10-4-2 record at Gurski in league play and an unbeaten record (2-0) in U.S. Open Cup play.

Reading United General Manager George Gadebusch believes the move to Wilson’s Gurski Stadium will benefit the club and its supporters. “Having played the 2014 season and several prior US Open Cup games at Gurski Stadium, we are excited to call it home for the 2018 season. With an excellent playing field, great facility accommodations and an unbeatable view from the stands, we will create a festival-like atmosphere for every home game, providing an unrivaled fan and player experience. We can think of no better venue for fans to connect with the professional soccer stars of tomorrow as they journey along their path to the pros."

Reading United will host their first regular season home match at Gurski Stadium on Saturday, May 26th, 2018 when they play FA Euro. Kickoff is set for 7:00pm.
