READING, PA (June 30, 2018) – Undefeated Reading United A.C. (10-0-1) will look to continue their winning streak when they face the New York Red Bulls U23 (8-2-0) on Tuesday, July 3rd away at Red Bull Academy Training Field 1, East Hanover, New Jersey.

United now have a five-match winning streak going into their game with the Red Bulls. The most recent of those being their 6-1 win over Evergreen FC. Forward Kieran Roberts scored 4 of those goals, and forward Khori Bennett scored the other two.

United’s defense has been at the core of the team success this season. Since they last saw the Red Bulls on June 2, they have won every game and only have allowed three goals in seven games. With only three matches left in the PDL regular season, United’s defense looks to keep the same intensity and passion.

Reading United’s offense has stepped it up since last seeing the Red Bulls as well. Since seeing them, United has scored 18 goals in 7 games. Roberts' four goal performance against Evergreen saw him leap frog teammates Aaron Molloy and Felipe Hideki and into the team lead in goals.

The Red Bulls have won two out of three games they have played since last seeing Reading United. After demolishing F.A. Euro by an eye- popping 7-0 scoreline, the Baby Bulls claimed a nail biting 4-3 win over the Long Island Rough Riders to set themselves up for a late run at the playoffs.

In the last meeting between the clubs, the Red Bulls gave Reading United a tough time the last time they faced each other. Midfielder Emmanuel Kouma for the Bulls scored in the 26 minute. United would pull through though thanks to two second half goals from Daniel Krutzen and Felipe Hideki.

United’s game against the Red Bulls will be the first of their three last games in the Conference. The others being away against Ocean City Nor’easters on July 7th and their last home game being against Lehigh Valley United on July 14th at Wilson High School’s Gurski Stadium.
