Reading United Reserve Team

Reading United Reserves play friendly matches with reserve teams in USL League Two, as well as USL of PA, NPSL, UPSL, and USASA level teams in the surrounding region. For 2023, the USL2 first team called up 7 reserve players, with some players making the starting XI!

The Reserves are coached by Rich Kessler and practice 2-3 time per week.  The season starts end of May and continues through the 2nd week of July.  The cost to be a reserve player is $400.  If interested in the spring 2024 season, please reach out to Coach Rich.

This is a perfect stepping stone for players looking to continue playing high level soccer during their college offseason.
